Backstage Sarasota, FL.  We were scheduled to fly back on Monday October 29th but Hurricane Sandy had different plans for us.  These images are from our shows we had Friday through Sunday.  Since I was in the other two dances of the program I only had the chance to shoot this one, Cascade.  I loved what I got in so many of these but decided to narrow it down to these few.

Light/Self portrait study: I'm love the imperfections.  I did this when I was really tired, in need of a shower, and out of sorts.  I generally don't make cosmetics a priority when I get shot because I want the imperfections and flaws to be seen.  It makes me feel like I'm expressing my purest side.

My first crack at a headshot.  It was my last rental day on a 50mm f/1.2L lens and I thought I'd give the wide aperture a shot.  My buddy Kevin is visiting from Austin so I subjected him to my torturous learning curve.  In the end we both liked this one the best.
