hat's this all about? It's an ambitious personal project to make a portrait of a someone I've never met before in my life every day for the span of one year.

Stranger 185: Frank

If you see this guy give him a big hug.  He's been working at the Kiddie Park in San Antonio for over a decade.  Fascinating that as children he and I rode the exact same rides at different points in the park's history.

Stranger 184: ?

I didn't get this guy's name because as he was strolling in his car I gestured to my camera and pointed at him for permission.  He let me shoot but since he was in the street driving I couldn't didn't have much time to chat.  I believe this was the day of Boston Red Sox parade.  Oh boy was it crazy out there.

Stranger 182: Joe

Joe is a cook at the seafood restaurant Boone's in Portland, ME.  If you go make sure you get the lobster roll and if they're still serving that yummy apple cider order that as well.

Stranger 179: Kris

Kris is a gifted performance artist. This performance was commissioned by the Pop Up Museum of Queer History.  Please visit for more information.

Stranger 167: Nico

Nico moved to NYC from LA several years ago.  Recently she moved back to LA but sort of regrets that decision.  I miss all this old concrete, she told me.

Stranger 165 & 166: Hailey and Remi

Remi is visiting from Australia where he's a working actor. He says he likes being behind the lens more lately.  Deepening his passion for photography.  He and Hailey had a great connection and I didn't want to split them up so I thought I'd shoot them together.
